List prays after waking up and before going to bed daily - all family and friends are prayed for. This has been the case ever since we have been married
Reads God’s word from the bible mainly just before going to bed. Always shares her faith - is very bold in her outreach to others both here and on the telephone.
Volunteers at church in the Communion preparation ministry and the media resources team.
Is the leader of the Aupe family (the father’s side) in Inabanga, Bohol - makes almost daily telephone calls to try to find the needs of the family by encouraging everyone from the smallest to the oldest. Will pray for those needs! Confidently speaks with leaders of the church we are in partnership with in Bohol, Philippines.
Was the construction manager of the family home in Saa, Inabanga - build by telephone from 1998 to 2002 with family members in Inabanga being the builders, to the surprise of me when we arrived in Inabanga after not visiting for 4 years.
Cooks and prepares 5 star restaurant quality meals 5 or 6 nights a week
Keeps our home as tidy as possible whilst hosting a Family Day Care business.
Makes sure that junk is disposed off. No hoarding allowed.
Grows amazing roses in the front garden of the house - over 100 plants. Also many fruit trees in the back garden as well as a small supply of vegetables sometimes uses for the evening meal.
For 19 years - operates a Family Day Care business. Is the driving force behind the network of carers in our suburb and adjacent suburbs. Regularly gets carers together.
Has the amazing gift to be able to organise social events for friends at church mainly after church on Sunday lunch.
Is one of maintenance people at our home.
Is an amazing communicator with people from different cultures to explain the rules of Family Day Care and particularly needs of parents to be punctual in the fast world of driving and collecting children to and from school on weekdays, 40 weeks a year. Has several mentors, including fellow carers, FDC office field workers and managers of the FDC organisation.
Has a circle of friends that do not attend our church, and keeps in touch with them. This includes her cousin.
Is a very competent driver of an 8 seater van. Because of the responsibility of driving children, is very patient in regard to the road rules.
Is a very reliable and punctual person who also does not like to be kept waiting. (Who does?)
Hosted more that 12 i-connect fortnightly meetings at our home this past year as back-up hosts.
Her brain is like a computer - but does not like her well established plans to changed. Very easy to live with as is always on top of things.
Very good organiser, self motivated as the eldest of a large family.
Can easy resolve problems - generally she is correct with her assessment.
Not easily confused, is very assertive and someone people likes getting around, as it is always a learning exercise for them.
Never takes No for an answer. Will complain if there is something wrong with her order for herself or anyone under her control. Making sure that no one is corrupt in any small detail.
Does not allow anyone to control her. Will orally fight with confidence knowing that she is so correct.
Has amazing communication skills. Able to talk for hours on the telephone without any known side effects.
Not interested in sports.
Never waists a moment. Likes to arrive on-time and the other party must be there or she will leave. An exception is waiting for doctors. But will ring up the receptionist to ask how long the doctor is behind schedule before leaving home.
Is confident to stand up and speak to small or large groups of people
